Running a free session to get some new clients. Any ideas on a good WOD for newcomers. I have the warmup and cooldown covered. Just trying to set up a realistic WOD that won't SCARE too many people. Gorup size is 8.

Idea so far is 3rds of Run 400m, pullups, pushups, squats, situps all exercises 10-20 reps depending on abilities.

FWIW, I used "Daniel" for a free group class for 20 people about two weeks ago. Around 10 people were new.

I thought it worked out well because I only had to teach thruster and pull ups to people and it was easy to scale down - lighter weight or pvc pipe for alot, and body rows on the rings or pull ups in the band for others.

I've found that limiting the number of technical movements is always best for newbies especially a lot of newbs!

If you have the space to run, I'd do 5 rounds of 400m run, 20 squats, 10 pushups.

Keep it simple yet profound. You don't have to teach too much and don't need equipment.
