Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

Only New to the Forum

Been practicing Crossfit tentatively for about 3 months now. Mainly mixing it in with traditional workouts, and subbing a lot of WOD's for bar complexes, more pleasant crossfit WODs etc. Just joining the forum as I am completely dedicating myself for the rest of 2010. I am going to truly see if Crossfit is right for me and going halfway on two different methodologies is getting me nowhere. Keeping a workout and diet log, and setting written goals before EVERY workout. Wish me luck. The goal is much reduced bodyfat and stronger lifts by 2011!

Second Crossfit class today.......sore everywhere! My friend, Mark, has dubbed me Jill "The Situation" Novak. This Crossfit is some crazy stuff!

I hear ya. My knee is pretty much non-existant from the 5 Thruster / 7 Hang Clean / 10 SDHP workout a few days ago. (Not the good kind of sore)

And thanks for the reminder I have 2 episodes of Jersey Shore waiting on my DVR!
