Hi folks,

just wanted to make everybody aware of a new trigger points online resource: http://triggerpoints.net/.

The site seems to be rather complete - an impressive set of images together with other useful information and references. Definitively the way to go to find your sore spots to massage.

I just hope they have cleared the copyrights to the images with the publisher, so the site won't go away ...

Cheers,

Christian

Interesting site. I'd like to learn more about it, can you recommend a good book. I can see how to identify the points from the web site, but how do you treat the trigger points once you've found them.

It sounds like I might have accidentally been doing it for my back pain for some time, I didn't know what I was doing or that it had a name, but it's fitting in with what I've just read on your web site.

try "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief, Second Edition" by Clair Davies. it is easy to use and understand. it is a very solid buy and it is very inexpensive compared to Travell and Simons' books.
