Rogue "kilo" Bells
I am looking at purchasing several kettlebells for my wife and I. I was wondering if anyone has handled the Newer Rogue "kilo" bells that are made in America. They are definitely more expensive and was wondering if the cost difference could be made up in quality of feel and handle.

Wifey and I have some, and yes the handle and finish are very nice. Bought them for our 6th anniversary-Iron/Candy.
Also, "Made in the USA" was the final determining factor. |

From looking at the set we received, the handle, grip and overall look is FAR better than the troy bells they're replacing. Overall (and assuming we get our new set in good condition) we are very pleased with the quality. |

Re: Rogue "kilo" Bells
I just bought a 70 pound Rogue Kilobell. I definitely like the handle and the finish a lot better than the Ader kettlebells that I bought. The finish is a little rougher, so it will be a little harder on the hands, but it doesn't grab onto the skin and tear the way the finish on the Ader kettlebells does. Handles are still plenty wide and thick for two handed movements, and the bottoms are flat for doing pushups or renegade rows. I think at some point I'm going to get two of the heaviest kilobells Rogue offers. If I could afford it, I'd go ahead and replace all my Aders with Kilobells.

Subscribing to this post; I'm planning to purchase 1, 1.5, and 2 pd KB's soon.
Currently considering: Ader, Troy, RKC, and as a result of this thread, Kilobells. Thanks! |

Re: Rogue "kilo" Bells
So what I am getting is that the quality is top notch.
The only draw back is that I can get a 35, 45, 55, 70 lb kettlebell from Troy for the price of two of these bells with shipping. Is there that much difference in the quality that I should go with the Rogue over the Troy bell? Thanks for any input. |

Re: Rogue "kilo" Bells
Rogue makes a KB that is very close to the RKC which in my opinion is top notch. When I open an affiliate in the future that is what I will get unless I get RKC on a good sale.

If you are interested in Troy bells, you should drop by our warehouse sometime to check them out. We are near Mopac and 183. PM me if you want to set something up. |

Re: Rogue "kilo" Bells
If I were to order bells right now, I'd consider nothing other than the Rogue bells.

Kilo bells are made by Art of Strength and by far my favorite. you can get the 2 kg "kettlebell buddy" to screw onto the bottom to increase weight. pretty cool
