Ten Pound Challenge - Day 1

Just wanted to say good morning to my fellow Challengers: Cal, Gina, Alicia, MR. *gulp* Lunch Meat Derek, Akols, and Sarena.

(I did say it, too. From now on, you're Mr. LUNCH MEAT Derek.)

I couldn't have a started this a moment too soon. Scale this morning said 150.8. That's the last time I want to see that number!

Have a great day, Challengers. Remember, at the end of the day, we'll be posting

1. Weight (you can do this once a week if you like)
2. Food diary
3. Workout
4. Questions, problems, challenges, plans for doing better on the morrow.

See you after a great day!
Susie

Re: Ten Pound Challenge - Day 1

Tuesday 21 Aug

1.64m (5'4), 60kg (132lb), 23%BF (roughly with cheap accu-measures)

Food:
4pm: 3 cups cauliflower, 5 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp canola oil, drizzle of vegetarian oyster sauce
5pm: 85g tuna in springwater, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 slice onion, 1/4 cup cucumber, 5 fish oil caps
7pm: 100g chicken breast, 4 cups kale
9pm: 50g chicken breast

Workout:
None... rest day.

Thoughts:
One of my challenges is the need to bite/chew something when I get frustrated with studying. This can last a few hours and I've been buying 6 packets of sugarfree gum. The ideal frustration-relief food is something hard and crunchy like nuts, pretzels and chips... so I'll be trying to stay away from those.

Re: Ten Pound Challenge - Day 1

I already posted Tuesday on the other thread.

I am sorry to say that I am not getting that WOD done today. I was doing some cross pulls and somehow managed to injure the right pectoral. It feels kind of tight now. I decided to run 5 miles instead, but then stuff got kind of complicated and I'm not going to be able to do that either.

Vague-ishly yes. Some of my classes last almost the whole day and it's a little inconvenient to bring boxes of food... and I usually have no appetite till later in the day anyhow.
