What's so hard about saying Wayne? I just said it 10 times in a row and didn't mess it up ONCE!

You wouldn't believe how many times people get my name wrong. It's just like saying 'moon' with a 'Y' but I've heard it all: Johan, Yon, Joon, Soon, Juan. Best though was my 6th grade substitute teacher who pronounced my name 'Urine?' during roll call.

As for three things I'm good at, I'll get back to you. I am pretty good at inducing awkward silences and bringing conversations to a grinding halt, come to think of it.

1. Highest average cruising speed while skiing (i.e. not in a race, just whatever you normally do)

2. Highest (Calories consumed in one day/1000 + pounds lost overnight), my metabolism doesn't slow down at night, and burns off ANYTHING I eat over 3000 calories. That may just be muscle mass and youth though...

3. Highest score on a comprehensive economics exam focused on the following topics: general equilibrium theory, auctions, behavioral economics, negotiations strategy. (Can you tell I just finished finals?)

Except for Joshua, I guess there are a few who get their names wrong more than me.

But have you ever had a Christmas card given to you with the wrong name?

I love the question.
It's kind of funny that on the fitness forum, there are people disparaging the relative value of verified world records when 2 clicks away, we are gleefully creating our own categories. It may just be me, but I prefer to dwell upon the positive.

Mike O'D - there was a guy named Dave Tomlinson on Boston U's hockey team in the late 80's - I didn't play for them but I knew and hung out with a lot of the team. Tomlinson was called "sniper" because he could hit the posts with 7 out of 10 pucks from between the dots. That's what I heard, anyway, and he would take beers off of guys like crazy for that trick. (Funny thing is, he was one of the few guys on that team that never made it to the NHL.)
My three:
1 - Best self-given USMC flat top without a mirror in shortest time ever!
2 - Highest score in atari (2600) asteroids using the game with the shield function (I kept it going for almost 24 hrs and even sent the score in - never heard back). Man, those were the days.
3 - Most times moving an entire household of furniture by one's self (3 in the last 3 months for starters - thank you CF!)
