Yeah, I know there are production costs and whatnot, but still... I make $9 an hour, I don't care what what the production costs are! That's a hell of a lot of money to me!

Tyler,
Congrats on the rings and good job on keeping your head while many were losing theirs. I hope you see a good accountant/tax attorney and give as little to Uncle Sam as is allowable. Do yourself a favor, don't go to one of those hacks like H & R block (better off with TurboTax or Quicken), the person helping you uses some program, likely they've had little to no training on tax law, and they try to sell you a bunch of garbage, like massive interest "loans" to get you your return about 3 weeks sooner than you would otherwise. Sorry, free rant and advice over.

Sean,

Do you know that your line "keeping your head while many were losing theirs" is a paraphrase from the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling?

Here's the actual line:

"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you"

Appropriate for sure. I love that poem.

I get the impression that your are a philosophy junkie.

Stan

Yes, Stan, to both. As I am currently in Afghanistan and have read a ton of Kipling, it was intentional. Glad to see that (a) no good allusion goes unnoticed and (b) that my CF brethren did not let me down. I'll plead guilty on being a philosophy junkie, as well.
(And now back to our thread already in progress).

OK, so, I ordered my set either one or two days before christmas, anyone else in that time frame get a reorder e-mail yet? I really want my rings, I actually had a dream about them last night...

Seriously, I know one or two other people had dreams about them, anyone else have a confession to make?

Jamey,
The metal rings are in stock. The Elite Rings are on backorder for about 6-8 weeks. We have sent pre-ordered rings out up till December 24th so far.

Thanks Tyler
I just received my Elite Rings, and I am happy to say they are well worth the wait.
I have had the old model for quite a while but the Elite Ring is a worthwhile upgrade.
Light very light, buckle rub gone, overall excellent value.
Has no problem under my meger weight of 70kg.It will get a test run this Sat with a variety of BWs.
Just for the record I have no connection with Tyler or his Work.

If anyone can break them it'll be our russian crew of vlad and vads. I'm sure they'll stand up fine though :-)
