I've looked (so I'm sorry if this has been answered) and looked -- where can I find a list (is there one?) of music from the videos - specifically I really want to know where the (was it Thursday?) version of 'Comfortably Numb' came from. Thank you so much in advance.

You know it might not be a bad idea to put the song and artist below the link. It would help expand CrossFitian musical horizons, and warn folks if the song is obviously not G rated.

Speaking of which, I haven't heard any Tenacious D yet. I listen to "[You can't kill] The Metal" before most WOD's. It's not George Strait or Jones, but it makes me laugh.

BTW, Tony, that video was extremely well done.

Andrea,

That sounds Like Aaron Lewis from Staind to me.

Is this it? Good call, Tom. Live version of Comfortably Numb by Staind.

Link to iTunes Music Store. Be advised song is labled Explicit, although 30' sample is okay. Otherwise safe link.

Perfect call on Staind -- That's absolutely the first version used, but I think it must have been mixed into a punk version for the middle of the video -- any ideas on who the punk cover might be? (By the way, you all rock for figuring out the first part!) Thank you!!

Okay, anyone who doesn't have that version of comfortably numb should download it - great 'play it loud' song. Thanks Barry, Chris and Tom! (You rock)

I've just "discovered" this song (clearly a hole in my education). Very, very powerful.

I downloaded five versions from itunes. I think I like the Van Morrison version best (and that is the one in the Departed). The Dar Williams version is also quite good, but different.

Staind has an excellent version as well and seems to be what's in the WOD.

I come to crossfit for exercise and end up buying music...weird.
