50th percentile for a 17 year old male in the V-sit and reach is +3" (3 inches past your toes). This is the one thing in high school that kept me from the award lol

In one of Kelly Starrett's CF Journal articles, he shows how to do a functional assesment of the hamstring. Its easy to do and will give you an idea of your hamstring flexibility.

All those K star videos were awesome, I was able to figure out what was extremely tight on myself. The only problem though is there is no mention on stretches that you can do yourself to slowly improve yourself.
