Conditioning

Final Event from competition I was at in Montreal.

21-15-9
Deadlift, 295lbs + 3 rounds of Cindy after each set
*Pullups done on crossmember of yoke (very thick)

10:20

Too slow, but didn't really warm up for this.
Did 135 x 5 twice, and 225 x 5 and went right into it.

1 miss...when I was talking **** and having a conversation during a lift.

failed twice then made it. Just a mobility thing with tight hips....Still happy to make it.

Active Rest day, kinda turned into a decent workout.

5 x 500m run

Started at very easy warmup pace. Each one just felt looser and easier. Decided after the first 3 that I'd continue with decreasing the times per interval. Last one was a hard effort.

Have to officially measure the loop around the building. Only done it in a car.

VERY exciting day as well.
Got the logo done in the gym, got a bunch of banners up, and the rest of our equipment was supposed to arrive, but mix up happened and it will be tomorrow.

Away at a competition this weekend with Lacey, so big volume day today.
I am not competing....right wrist still giving me issues on certain things.

BB Gymnastics

Hang Power Clean + Hang Squat Clean

Planned to go for 10 and would have but felt a tweak in my left shoulder catching the bar. Shoulders a super tight from the last few days.

Strength

Front Squat, 3x5 heavy as possible

Wore the wraps for the last 3 sets. Felt like I was going to die on the last 2-3 reps of 315.

Conditioning

Wall Ball, 20# to 10 ft

Forearm masher....Got breathing pretty decent too.

Just before leaving Greg asked for another one, planned it out for him and decided to do it with him.

Shoulders were smoked going in....Was breaking up 5 HSPU after a couple minutes.

Getting pretty decent pull on the bar. Can't wait to actually snatch again....

Too beat up to clean after all the work yesterday.

Conditioning

Threw together some work with Mark.

10 Rounds

10 Wallballs, 20# to 10 ft
10 GHD Situps
40m farmers carry, 32kg KB x 2 (20m out and back)

Untimed, rest while partner is doing GHD situps, so about 20-25 seconds.
All UB, not bad.
