Re: The making of me ^^

Nice bear complexes Rich. I want to do something like that after watching that video from Big Sky, Montana.

I agree. That sounds brutal. 20 minutes of body-weight bear complexes will put hair on your chest (and probably everywhere else, too).

Nice work going on around here still.

Re: The making of me ^^

Thats fine work with the Bear complexes Richard, I will be suggesting it in our programming (with scaling options of course).

You'd love this one. There was no use in trying 225lbs for me though

I'm weighing 86-87kg at the moment too. Tough cookie!

It's a long grind, I'd love to see how you do on it. I was doing squat cleans for the first half, but I was getting burried at some point so I switched to power clean + front squat.

I gave it to my class, they did it anywhere from 80kg to 60kg, deciding factor was shoulder flexibility when lowering it behind the head!

Re: The making of me ^^

My lowering behind head needs a lot of work, dropped 70k on my head 2x and took some lumps out of my neck doing the bear last week.

Re: The making of me ^^

Merci Hugo, ça commence à venir!

Today:

Hungover from drinks out last night.

Snatch - 90kg, failed 95kg 3 times. It all felt so much heavier than usual, I skipped it.

Back squat - 110 x 8 x 2

10 min AMRAP
10 HSPU
10 box jumps 90cm
20 KB swings 24kg

4 rounds + 10 hspu, excessive sweating despite the steady pace.

Stone shouldering, up to 95kg x 1 x 2, + 3 x 10 GHD sit ups.
