140lb Mir Vest???

Anyone here own the 140lb Mir Vest? Whats your opinion on the vest? I'm thinking about purchasing it in the next couple weeks. I love doing heavy mini circuits. A heavy *** vest will be perfect.

Thanks

Thanks! I don't run or do any explosive movements with vests. This is purely for a strength circuit.

yea the most i go for any explosive/plyo movements or running is 40 maybe 50 but thats pushing it ... too much stress on the body and joints ... but for a nice BW circuit its awsome ...

That's an insanely heavy vest, seems like it might stress your CNS if you wore it for very long.

Re: 140lb Mir Vest???

Sick, 140lb vest... I think I have gotten mine up to 80lbs and It feels like a small child is hanging on to me haha. I also only weight 165lbs. So if you weight 200+ then perhaps it is just relative.

So depending on whether you could go for the MiR or the Rogue vest.. its up to you... but for complete reviews depending on what you plan to use it for e.g. running, burpees, Murph, etc. check this site out:

The vest should be here tomorrow. I'll give a report on the product after the weekend.

Re: 140lb Mir Vest???

-Product review_

I received the 60lb Pro Plus vest. Which holds 140lb. Right now I have done 2 workouts with 100lbs. My initial impressions are very positive. This vest is very very comfortable to wear. Its more comfortable then my 60lb short vest. It hugs tight to the body considering the weight. Theres a good range of motion allowed and no digging into the body. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase. This heavier vest has definitely taken my mini circuits to a whole new level.
