Any crossfitter suffering from Migraine Associated Veritgo / Vestibular Migraine?

Was diagnosed by neurologist about a month or so ago after multiple test with ENT, Audiologist, MRI, etc, etc. Had return/relapse this weekend and was a DNF at the gym today. Really sick of it...and hate taking valium to combat symptoms.

If you suffer from this I would love to hear how you cope, how you manage your workouts, success stories, etc. It's all really new to me and just looking for some support from a CrossFit perspective. Found some good stuff online, but as CF is a community, it's a place I really value feedback and support from. CF literally changed my life and habits 4 years ago, and I feel like it's under threat from my MAV. If that's the cards I've been dealt, so be it...but if nothing else, CF has taught me to fight and push back against anything asking me to quit. I'm not stubborn, just determined and optimisitc.

Thanks!

Joshua

We had a patient/member dx with that, and was told that she should stop with high intesity exercise. She is 37yo.

I would look at your pre/post WOD nutrition. We have added 4oz coconut water, 4-6oz water, and a protein mix. Added electrolytes, carbs, etc. have done wonders.

A few years ago was diagnosed with Vestibular Neuritis. But is it the Migraines or the Vertigo that is the issue?

If it is reference Vertigo issues I can porvide some feedback. But for the most part, I find the treatments non effective and experimental.
