Curved bar vs Straight bar for PUs/MUs

I searched the archives but couldn't find this question raised. I like to do my pullups and muscle ups on a bar that slightly curves as goes toward the center. This is the guy from beastskills.com using one:

My question is, is this any different than using a regular straight bar? It feels a little more comfortable for me; I was just wondering if there is a benefit to one or the other.

any benefit or disadvantage would be purely ergonomical and therefore subjective.
so basically, if you like it more, then use it!

A bar bent like that is easier to grip in a false grip if you wanted one... Seems like most people who do deadhangers just put their wrists on top. I actually grab the bar just personal preference because I think it gives more control.

I do think it's mainly subjective like Jake said though.. whatever works.
