Road to 100 body weight back squats.

I have had a goal that pops in and out of my training for the past couple years. 100 body weight back squats in one set. I started it up again last night. I did 75% of my body weight (145lbs) for 101 reps, (miscounted), I broke my wrist recently and back squats are one of the only movements I can do with minimal discomfort, so I figured might as well see if I can focus on achieving this goal while my training is so limited.
Check out the video if you want.

Holy crap! You > Me

Even 20 body weight squats wears me out. I can imagine shooting for maaaaaaybe 40-50, but 100?? There'd have to be some money on the line, and a paramedic on site.

Re: Road to 100 body weight back squats.

Did a set of 50 with 225 tonight. A little tougher than I wanted it to be. I am doing a little bit of periodization to get to 100 at 190. 225 is 118% of 190. I probably should have done 60 reps looking back on it. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMq-y...e=channel_page

That's crazy. Nice work. Those are the biggest squat cages I've ever seen.

Yeah, the cages are huge, I got them from the University of Colorado. They are 10 feet tall! They barely fit under the ceiling beams.
