No alternating, my left arm is injured. That's a good idea...... It would be tough but I could do 1 arm burpees with a pushup, it would take a while to do 50 though. Thanks for the comment!

Earlier, if anyone is curious. The heavybag I carried weighs 86 pounds or so, the weight vest weighs 90lbs. 90+86=176 lbs. I weigh 160.

Nov. 7, 2008

Did my first day of the crossfit+strength program.

Notes:
Did not sleep all night long, chain smoked a pack of Newports, and did the workout in the morning. Still kicked *** in the workout, but it would have been much easier had I not smoked. Quitting for good now, rock solid committment this time.

Earlier in the week:

Tested some maxes before the strength program.

1-arm shoulder press: 60lbs (Previous PR 135lbs for shoulder press *both arms)
Back Squat: 245lbs (Previous PR 275lbs)

I'm expecting to blow past my old PRs

I'm going to schedule physical therapy for my wrist. If anyone out there wants to trade wrists, make an offer. Its been hurting for over 2 months.

I got some x-rays of my wrist. I'll be getting the results soon. I have a little strain in my right shoulder, probably from all of the use it's been getting. since I can't do many exercises I've been doing a ton of shoulder stuff. I'm just going to do back squats and maybe some running. I might have to take some advice and just take a break from exercise. I'm supposed to stop doing martial arts, but I think working on footwork and stuff will be ok.

Boxing is awesome. I did what I could with one hand. Right now I'm busy a lot but I will take more lessons when I have time. It's intense. Going to go a couple times a week right now.

That will be my last entry until I can get back into crossfit.
