I recently had a baby and want to get back to the zone diet and crossfit training more regularly. However, with a newborn and 4 year old, I am finding it extremely hard to find the time to fix the zone meals/snacks I did a few months ago. Also, I am nursing and the baby has a dairy sensitivity, so I have taken dairy out of my diet. As such, many of may staple zone meals (specifically breakfast) and snacks such as cooking eggs for breakfast or cottage cheese are too much work or off limits now.

What are some quick and easy zone breakfasts or snacks that are dairy free?

Can you hard boil a dozen eggs say early on in the week. I find that an egg with 1/2 an apple or 2-3 small fresh apricots and 3 almonds is a perfect 1 block snack!
