Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

10/9/12

No strength work today. Individual regionals for High School were today so I got to the gym around 8:30. Felt pretty tired but Grace was programmed for today so...

WOD:

"Grace"

30 Clean and Jerks for Time 135/95

4:46 scaled to 95lbs.

Last time I did this was in 5:36 with 85lbs, so a pretty big PR coming in both time and weight. No practice tomorrow for high school so I'm going to go after some pull-ups.

Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

10/10/12

No practice for High School tonight so I had a lot of time at the box but there were also a lot of classes that broke up my practice.

Practice:

Power Clean: 10 sets of 5 at 105lbs

Pull-Ups: 75, 7 sets of 10, 1 set of 5

WOD:

Another 10 days of CrossFit style, I programmed the last one for myself with no idea this one was coming.

1 Burpee
2 Pull-Ups
3 Push-Ups
4 Box Jumps (24/20)
5 KB SDHP (53/36
6 MB Parallette Dips
7 Squats
8 Ab Mat Sit Ups
9 Tuck Jumps
10 KB Swings (53/36)

7:53 Rx'd

Perform in the order, 1 Burpee- 2 Pull-Ups, 1 Burpee- 3 Push Ups, 2 Pull Ups, 1 Burpee- until the entire list is complete.

Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

10/11/12

The Date today is pretty cool... It poured rain today so our matches for School were cancelled. Set another PR Today.

Strength:

Ring Push-Ups: 100 in Sets of 10

Horizontal Ring Rows: 50 in sets of 10

Front Squat: 5 sets of 5 Reps at 105lbs, felt good after that so I decided to work up to a heavy single. Got to 145lbs which is a 10lb PR. I think I could've gone heavier but I wanted to keep my form tight.

WOD:

5 Rounds for Time:

15 KB Snatches (53/36)
1 Stair run in our building

6:33 with a 36lb KB

No school tomorrow, lots of fun at the gym!

Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

I didn't have any school today so I spent from 8-7 at the Box. Got to help out with classes and stuff too. Lots more PR's! I'm a little disappointed with the OH Squats though, I can do way more, but I cant get it overhead. Gotta work on that.

Practice:

Push Press: Work up to a heavy Single (110lbs, 5lb PR), then 5 sets of 5 at 95lbs

KB Swings (53lb): 100 in sets of 10, 2 sets of 15.

Power Clean: 10 sets of 3 at 115lbs

Power Snatch: Work up to a heavy Single (80lbs, 5lb PR), then 5 sets of 3 at 75lbs

OH Squat: Work up to a heavy Single (95lbs, 10lb PR), then 5 sets of 3 at 85lbs

30 minutes of HSPU Practice

30 minutes of Double Under Practice

WOD:

12 Minute AMRAP

5 Deadlifts (225/165)
10 Pull-Ups

7 Rounds + 6 Reps Scaled to 175lb Deadlift

Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

Hey Bello! Your now the third person on board with this whole thing. Ill make sure you guys get some recognition at the games! Haha

10/14/12

Good Stuff today, but I have an interesting situation. I can do 16 Kipping Pull-Ups (Double Overhand), 1 Strict pull-up with double underhand, and no strict Pullups double overhand grip. Have you heard of anything like that? A 16-1 Kip to Deadhang ratio?

Strength:

Weighted Ring Dips:

3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1

25-30-35(F)-15-30-30-35-15-15

Never done weighted ring dips before, I couldn't do a regular ring dip 2 months ago so pretty happy with those.

Strict Pull-Ups: 50 with a 30lb Resistance band in sets of 5

WOD:

10-8-6-4-2

HSPU
C2B Pull-Ups

7:20 Scaled with Toes on box vertical HSPU, 15lb banded C2B Pull-Ups

Re: 2016 CrossFit Games

That's pretty different, but I think it makes sense if you're pretty light. What are your physical stats btw?
