Sorry, I meant to post that these were jumping ring pullups... again. I've fallen back to that level... Oh well, at least I'm back on track.

Thursday 100218

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of the triplet:

Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight
Bench press: body weight
Clean: 3/4 body weight

Set up three bars and storm through for time.

Done.

Started DL at 205, dropped to 185 on 3rd round.
Started Bench at 185, dropped to 160 on round 2
Cleaned at 75lbs

Time was 24:28

I'm just glad I got the workout done. Thanks to Nik for swapping plates around for me.

Diet is still going well. I managed to survive the weekend with cookie bars in the house. Didn't eat a crumb!

Going to do Garrett today (scaled).

Slow and sad, but finished.

Garrett:

3 Rounds for Time:
75 Squats
25 Pushups
25 Jumping pullups

18:16

Pushups were the hardest. They've really gone downhill. I just have to stay focused and push through this slump. I know I'll get back.

Slump? No slump! You have always had some trouble with pushups. Just do more pushups!!

Excellent day today!

Crossfit Total

1RM Back Squat - 285 Solid and low. Felt really good
1RM Shoulder Press - 165 5lbs lower than my previous, but I haven't done any shoulder work in a while. Still realy happy
1RM Dealidft - 355. PR Previous best was 344. Very happy!

805 total.

Nice work! I think I'm going to total on Thursday for the first time in 11 months. Did you try higher on anything and fail?

Awesome!

No, we were running pretty short on time as it was. We CF on our lunch break and we were already 20 minutes past, haha. Total takes a while to do right.

I know I could have gone heavier, but I was happy with the confidence I built.
