Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Push Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1

105, 115, 130, 145, 160, 175, 175

I attempted 180 on my last rep. It just didn't feel right. But my second 175 was much better than my first one. We're doing oly practice on Thursday

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Did 6 rounds and 45 pullups.

We've discovered that our loop is longer than 400m. We're probably doing over 500m per lap. We need to remeasure!

That's a brutal workout. There's just no time to catch your breath. And no matter what, you get punished. If you can't do pullups, you have to do more running. If you struggle to run, it just takes longer. Again, this is what I love about CrossFit. Pushes you to get better at everything. Makes you think about all the time you used to waste doing curls and leg extensions.

Nice WORK! I couldn't imagine adding an extra 100 meters. Bleh!

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Off day yesterday. Worked on my car. Too sore to run today. I feel really guilty.

Hit 195 yesterday. I'm so stoked!

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Woo hoo! Lynne! Lynne was the first workout I did when I started this log. I'll be upping the weight to my bw this time, though, last time I did it at 185. I'll bump to 195 today.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Happy Update!

Prevous Lynne:
185lbs/kipping
1. 8, 11
2. 10, 10
3. 9, 10
4. 8, 7
5. 4, 6

Today:
195lbs/kipping
1. 10, 13
2. 9, 10
3. 6, 11
4. 7, 13
5. 3, 7

I think I held up very well after increasing to my body weight. I'm really happy about that workout. As always, 5th set is a killer.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

So, I don't feel nearly as bad about some of my 400m run times, now. I grabbed my Forerunner today and measured. We had actually been running 600s instead of 400s. Oh well, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

Today should feel fast!

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Good one, today. This is one of my favorite workouts.

400m run, unanchored situps, 200lb deadlift. 5 rounds. 24:30.
