Really happy with the workout today.

Find 1RM power clean: 205. 20lb PR for me!

10 min AMRAP
3 power cleans at 55% 1RM - 115lbs
1 round of Cindy

I was short 8 rounds by 7 squats. Pushed really hard. Pushups were really good. Chest touched the floor. Several unbroken sets. Pullups were all kipping even though they were broken. All on the tall rack with hands forward.

Great day for me.

Good workout, but I slowed down a bit on round 4. I was under a minute a round and then had to break a little. Heaviest deads I've done in a while. Felt good, though.

Helen today.

Previous Helen was 11:45 with green band on our short rack.

Today was 11:30 with the blue band on tall rack. Much harder pull-ups. Really happy about that.

13 HSPU (scaled onto Abmat and 35lb bumper)
40 double-unders

I was really cruising along until my second set of double-unders. I just couldn't get them going. I was REALLY hoping to catch Nik. That would have made my day.

I was 5 bar hops short of 4 rounds.

My little boy is sick and I'm running on around 4 hours of sleep. I hope I don't catch his bug. Competition is coming up!

I've been out for almost a week, now. My son passed the bug on to my wife and I. It seemed to affect me the least. I didn't eat yesterday and couldn't drink much. Down 4 lbs in a day. Yikes.

Hoping to recover quickly and hit a few short metcons at the end of the week and next week to ramp up to the competition. Very excited.

Feeling quite a bit better, now, but I'm not ready to work out. I'm sure I'll be back at it next week to get ready for the competition.

Also, I'm still down some weight. I guess that's okay... I just hope I didn't drop much muscle.

Done with 105lbs. 12:56 with Nik calling some fake no-reps for me
