Ahh, I was just going off reading the sub characters but figured that was far too boring and dry for most of the people here.
Your opinion is still interesting. Your feeling, heheh.

My planner today had a quote from Lincoln: "The way to destroy your enemy is to make him your friend." Perhaps the heart goes in the blade, too.

Fun with Kanji for beginners and complete idiots.

But I hate Sake.

Shochu isn't bad when it's mixed with stuff. :-)

You mix Shochu? I prefer it hot if at all. It lessens the taste and heightens the affect! For the most part, I found most wines bitter or sour no matter what I taste.
Rum or uisce beatha for me. I'm an Irish pirate, arr!

Awesome quote, Tim.

The quote is from "V for Vendetta".

As for Shochu, well, I liken it to being the Japanese equivalent of Mescal....nobody wants to drink that straight unless they're already plowed. :-)

Many of the Izakaya I frequented when I lived there served shochu as a mixer...like "house" tequila or vodka that was used in mixed drinks. Only the good stuff was imbibed neat.

I definitely remember where the quote is from.

Shochu is a rough taste. I've been meaning to get around to Mescal since a buddy went to Mexico and brought a cache of Mexican tequilas and mescal back.

I brought sake to Daikomoyosai, and I think I brought the lamest brand ever, because I got it at Safeway.
