I have done the same injury I did a few months ago on the inside of my ankle.
I found out on the net its the Tibialis Posterior which is injured.

I did it in martial arts training on monday although I only felt pain on thursday. I may have misjudged a kick on the thai pads or it could have been on the twisting on the ankle for power behind the kick.

I just got back into training a couple of weeks ago. I need to train regular. Martial arts is all that brings me to life
