cROSSfIT

I tried it backwards - ROSS and IT in upper-case. Well... you see what happened.

Re: Whoa--can't type CrossFit in all lower case!

If the CrossFit is part of the domain in the URL it will be fine it will break however if it were referecing an external site like (not a link so no WFS reference)

blahblah.com/crossfit.html

Testing all possible combinations is not necessary, most code bases have a case insensitive string replacement function so you just have to replace the case insensitive c-r-o-s-s-f-i-t (hyphens are to avoid the "fix") with the properly cased CrossFit...

Right, but would that replace Brian's backward CrossFit? Wouldn't there have to be a test for the required characters in multiple sequences?

Re: Whoa--can't type CrossFit in all lower case!

It's probably plugged into the profanity filter in the messageboard software (I think it's UBB here). If you type a swear word you will get a bunch of *'s. ****. See? Some other message board admins use it in creative ways, such as autocorrecting crossfit.

OK, I'm a doofus, I just realized what he meant.

Yeah, it only seems to autocorrect the word "CrossFit" when the letters are in that order and there are no other printable characters interrupting the string.
