New 20# weighted vest.

Entire workout with vest on--totally new concept for me.

Treadmill 1.5%
ran 1/2 mile
11 pullups
50 pushups
50 squats
50 flutter kicks (4 count)
ran 1/2 mile

Total time 22:35

Finished tired, but feeling pretty good. Took it a little easy on the treadmill as I am not used to running with weight let alone on the treadmill. Looking forward to getting more used to it.

A little sore from yesterday's workout, but feeling alright.

Treadmill started at 2.5% incline ruck march pace 4.4 mph and slowly raised incline to 8% and reduced speed to 4.0 mph. Total distance approx 1.65 miles before got a call. Goal was two miles, would have finished easily but tired. Total time approx 23 min.

Felt alright after call, just a little tight from sitting in driver seat for 15 minutes after a solid workout.

Did a couple of speedwalks with wife between last workout and this one. Normal pace is around 13:30 miles with a 20# vest.

Re: Mike Romo

4/2/08

First Fran

Started with 65# for first set of thrusters, got all done with this weight. Pullups got ten kipping in sets of 3-4, and remainder jumping.

Moved down to 45# for remainder of thrusters. Remainder of pull ups were in sets of two or three kipping and mixed with jumping.

Almost had a visit with Mr. Pukie around 4 minutes, but subsided with breath of fresh air.

Total time 7:50. Felt like crap for an hour or so after and am a little sore today 4/3/08

Getting a sub 3 minute Fran makes one a METCON ANIMAL!!! Big goal, maybe someday.

Two parts:

Part 1:

20# vest, ran three story training tower, and hose roll hoist with rope x 5 total time 9:10

Ran tower x 5 with no hose hoist: time 4:55

Gentle cooldown, walking around approx 300 m. Doffed vest.

Part 2:

kipping pullups x 5

pushups x 50

flutter kicks 4 count x 50

Felt great, starting to get sore from yesterday and today.
