Oh, yeah...

and we're set on the time for Sunday, Dec. 23rd. Justin (Primal Fitness, Virginia) is bringing about a dozen people with him for this Extreme Workout.

So far, there are 6 of us from Albany good to go....if you are going to be part of this circus, if you can let me know, it will help in planning how to utilize our space and such.

WOD (which made FRAN look good) 3 rounds for time: 35 Double Unders (I did the D.U's for the 1st and 3rd rounds....2nd round i did 175 jump straight ropes)
25 Thrusters (65#)
15 Pull Ups
Time: 17:50

After the WOD I also hit my Jason Goal which was 10 Strict Pull ups. I managed 12 with the support of Noreen and Sue. Awesome job on both your goals as well!

Thanks for the reinforcement of my "hookey" day. It's better to stretch than kvetch. Even if I'm still resting my shoulders and back, I may still do lunges tomorrow. I see you know my "out of the gate" habit. You guys are all an inspiration.

Congrats on reaching 200,000m Susie! Thats amazing . Congrats to everyone else hitting their PR's as well. It just sucks that I can't practice my muscle up at home since it looks like I'll be stuck inside tomorrow night and sunday. snow!

Good Morning Crossfitters - I feel like I have been hit by a truck! My body aches all over...so I am going to give myself a rest today and go in tomorrow....i really don't want to but i think i better.
Yesterday we did Legs...
50 reps of:
Deadlift 75lbs
BW squat
Ball Cleans
Ball Slams
Broad Jump
Nordic Jump
Box Jump
Lunges
Goblet squat (4olb)
i might be forgetting an exercise but i think that's it for a time of: 31:14.

Another home workout this morning. Not only is it freezing down in the basement but I also have some high powered mutant mice running around. They must be doing crossfit because all of the traps I set out are now gone. Not just the bait but all 4 traps are nowhere to be found

Warmup
500m row
30 pushups
50 situps
30 squats
150 jumping jacks

"Victoria" as rx'ed w/ 45lb bar
50 push press
10 pullups
40 push press
20 pullups
30 push press
30 pullups
20 push press
40 pullups
10 push press
50 pullups

19:33 - I can't kip on my pullup/dip station because of the way its set up so 90% of these were dead hang pain in the a$$ pullups.

Then I did 3 rounds of 30 35lb kettlebell swings and 20 knees to elbows. 8:49

How are you feeling, John J? That's funny about the Crossfit mice, sort of. I can't believe they stole your traps!

I do see cars going by today....but it looks rather nasty out there. What was the schedule for today? Have we cancelled?
