071015- Day 1

No Glory today. She had to go to a wedding.

Chris:

Monster Warm Up

21-15-9 rep rounds
225 lb. Deadlifts
Pullups
9:08

This is a workout I call "Pull your own weight". It got the name because I originally did it with BW Deadlifts; I've now stepped up to 225 lbs. (~1.25 BW).

071018- Day 4

Today we did 7x1 rep Cleans

Chris:

Monster Warm Up

Warm Ups sets- 135x3 reps, 155x3 reps

175-185-205-215-225-225 (very sloppy)-205

Glory

Glory's Warm Up (layback pullups)

Warm Up sets- 85x3, 95x3

105-115-125-135(failed twice)-130-115-115

Cleans were looking really sloppy at the end for both of us, and I need to work with Glory on her third pull. I don't know if this was the best programing choice after the last two days workouts.

071023- Day 7

Glory and I were both on the IR yesterday. Her plantar fasciitis is acting up and I pulled my groin on Sunday. As a result, today was a light day. I'm also moving forward with a change in our workout program that I had intended to start in a few weeks. I'm going to drop most of the ME workouts for 8 or 9 weeks in favor of a workout that focuses much more on functional movement and moderate intensity cardio. I think we're both showing signs of excessive wear and tear; the change of pace should be a nice refresher.

Chris

Monster Warm Up (minus the double unders and sub dead hang pullups, because of the groin)

50 Squats
21 Pullups
30 Squats
15 Pullups
20 Squats
9 Pullups

4:43

Glory

Glory's Warm Up (layback pullups)

50 Squats
15 self assisted pullups
30 Squats
12 self assisted pullups
20 Squats
9 self assisted pullups

5:51
