OK, it looks like the ideas are slowing down.
Does anyone want to volunteer to make a list of entries including entry numbers so that we can easily vote?

Cool, a CrossFit challenge I can actually do--count!

I'll do it. It's gonna be one mammoth list, though, Lauren. You know that, right?

Also, I can tally up the votes after the polls close.

I'll target posting the list of entries, with corresponding entry numbers, by Monday, November 1.

Also, regarding voting, are we voting for our top 3, top 1, or what?

Mike

Thanks Mike,

I thought that for the vote we would pick our top 2or 3 picks and maybe have 2 categories - "clean" and "off-color". What do you think?

Yes I realise the list will be big! Should we put in in a pdf format on the server and link to it?

I'm thinking 2 votes per category--a total of 4 votes--sounds like the way to go.

Also, the PDF idea sounds like a good one. But how 'bout I email you the list (most likely in an Excel spreadsheet) and we can make a determination after that.

Well, ever the procrastinator...here are my entries:

Obsessed is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.
It doesn't have to be fun to be fun. Attributed to Mark Twight

Not to interupt the details but I thought of another one.

(in bold letters across the front)

"CrossFit is Numero Uno"

(and across the back)

"CrossFit.com - Pumping REAL Iron"

"sorry Arnold"

I still just watch that movie "Pumping Iron" and laugh my @$$ off . . . then go work out.

Lynne, I saw the one about "obsessed" not an hour ago on someone else's shirt. Not sure we should use one that such "commoners" are wearing.

Ack! You are right-I had no originality, but don't want a "commoner" quote. ;^)
I really like the Mark Twight one the best anyway.

I think we might want to consider more than 2- 4 votes per person. If you have like 200 entries, and 100 people (or so) voting, the winner might be the one with 4 votes. If you pick like your top 5-10, then there may be some that appear repeatedly in people's top 5-10, but not necessarily at the top.

I hate to create more work for Mike, and I can of course be easily ignored, but that's my two sense. I've done rankings like this before, and most people vote for their own first, and then somebody else's, if they have enough votes.

I like Mark Twight's other quote (I am likely mangling it, please correct)

"Sometimes good intentions are not enough"
