Hi everybody,

I've been doing Crossfit for a while but have just gotten my Elite Rings. I also purchased the Ring Strength DVD. I'm wondering how others have integrated ring training with the WODs as a beginner. I figure I'd start with the pushups and body rows into the warmup to get the feel of the rings but not sure how many reps/sets would be a good place to start or if they should be a separate workout from the WOD. How have you guys been training with rings?

Starting out, it's a good start to incorporate push-ups & dips on the rings. Also, try doing pull-ups with rings too. I had worked up to 70 regular push-ups, then tried doing max sets with rings and was humbled quickly. I've now worked up to 30 push-ups on the rings. They are MUCH tougher. Muscle-ups are my next big goal.
Good luck!
