Re: Jason's getting swole

Went for a run yesterday. Probably about 15 minutes, rest for a couple minutes, then 15-20 minutes back. That's pretty long for me, haha. Great stress-reliever. Now resting until monday, when I plan to hit 290 for 3 sets of 5 across on my squats. Appetite really isn't there, which is odd. I probably won't eat enough or very well over the next few days, but I'll try.

Re: Jason's getting swole

Lost my workout log, so hopefully that shows up. Nice to not worry about what i'm eating or training for a week, and I was hoping that week would give me good yields. Mixed results:
5/9/2011
squats:185x5
235x5
290x5x3

press: 140x5x3

squat cleans (because on my power cleans i just don't squat, and i think that's the limitting factor)
140x2x4

pullups:
bwx3,bwx2

mile rune: 7:22
paced the first half way too easy, had to really push on the second half. dissapointed in that time, i know i can do better.

Re: Jason's getting swole

yesterday, 5/11/2011
deadlift:
205x5
275x5
375x1
405x5
Wow. Just hit my old 1rm for a 5 rep set. Goddamn. Also, played 45 minutes or so of basketball that made me want to vomit by the end of it because I'm just not in shape for it. Gonna be a good summer. Training will probably take up less of my life during the summer, so I'll probably be down to 2x lifting work outs a week, and 2-3x conditioning, depending on the week. Definite;ly focusing more on friends, experimenting with drugs, going outside, religion and philosophy, and just living the good life. That being said....I'm going to hit a 5-4 deadlift-squat by the end of the summer.

Re: Jason's getting swole

lol, i SUCK at keeping an online log. just about to head into my deload week for the second wendler cycle and my last numbers were something like deadlift 400x5, bench 235x6, squat 315x5, press 155 or 160x4. So, making progress. Playing lots of ultimate frisbee, might add in some distance stuff, but i really have got to clean up le diet.

Re: Jason's getting swole

exactly one month 'til i leave for college, and i'm gonna at least finish out this cycle of wendler's 5/3/1. i want to get faster, jump higher, and a bit stronger. i'm STRONGLY considering moving to CFFB collegiate programming when i move out.

Re: Jason's getting swole

7/22
1 mile run, 10 second sprint on every minute

6:43

original plan was to rest two minutes after this, then do it again. idk. i hadn't eaten enough yesterday, and i'd rather leave some on. still hungry, you know. 28 days, 4 weeks til i leave for school.
