Open WOD Video question

SO, I do not have anyone to help me on the WOD's so here are my questions:

Do we need someone else with us for the entire WOD in the video?
Do we need to have a counting clock visible or can we use a stop watch?
Can we use any object to touch on the burpee jumps that is 6" above reach?

I am going to video this WOD in the morning and want to get it all correct.

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Re: Open WOD Video question

1. Yes, you need another person in the frame at all times once the workout starts. This person does not have to be judging (Ben Smith had his brother doing his homework in the background for his video submissions last year, if I recall correctly).

2. Yes, you need a clearly running clock visable in the frame at all times (can be a stopwatch in the foreground of the video, but check to make sure you can see it clearly in the video).

3. Anything that is clearly at or above 6" is fair game for your burpee jump. Again, make sure you show your measurement on the video before the workout starts.

Hope that helps and good luck,
-Boz

Re: Open WOD Video question

If we are not able to do 165# snatch do we still need to let the video run out to 17:00 or can we cut it short? I will have a tough enough trying to get all 30 at 135# and there will be a bunch of time left and I see no reason to let it all just run out if I do not complete anymore reps.

Re: Open WOD Video question

I saw a lot of videos that were approved that didn't have a person in the backround. I think as long as the clock is showing in the backround, and the camera angle is good, the video wont get rejected.
