I recently got a hold of CFN's athletic benchmark sheet and had a couple of questions regarding it.

1) Is this a good way to address weaknesses?
2) The elite level states 10 handstand pushups. I am assuming this is without a wall correct?

1) The skill levels are not exercise prescriptions, they tell you nothing about how to get there. So the direct answer to your question is, no. But, the acomplishments in each level are a good representation of how balanced you are, so the levels are a tool to find your weaknesses.

It can be hard to balance the specialized work it takes to progress in several areas... say L-sits, pull-ups deadlifts and running. It's too easy to get caught up in the pursuit of one goal and lose sight of others, even lose progress you've already made. The skill levels establish comparable abilities in the 10 areas of fitness

2) Look over the requirements of Level IV carefully and you'll see that none of the individual requirements are very impressive to a specialist. It's being able to do all of it that makes an athlete "elite".

With that in mind, 10 FULL RANGE handstand pushups, done on parallets or blocks so that your shoulders go ALL the way to your hands is plenty hard. Balance aid in the form of a wall or spotter is allowed.
