E-Mail Marketing

How many gym owners use email marketing? Constant Contact, AWeber, Mail Chimp. Any good blogs on how to use email marketing better? Thanks.

Re: E-Mail Marketing

All three are fine I hear.

Consider E-Mail marketing a part of your overall marketing system - working in conjunction with social media, blogging, your website, promotions...

There are tons of articles for businesses in general on the topic. Consider some of the writings of Seth Godin on permission marketing.

Important thing to know is you must get approval to email someone before you send them anything. Double optins are preferred, but not mandatory.

Never blast email to a cold list.

Re: E-Mail Marketing

Are you talking about like reaching back to clients that haven't come in a while? Or maybe letting all your current clients know about a sale or something? I use rxgymsoftware (WFS) and it's automatically built into the website for me! I can setup specific groups, or just email inactive athletes that haven't posted scores in awhile, it's a pretty slick setup.
