Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

I think something like cosmetic surgery and HRT are definitely going to be more common in various CF boxes due to the fact that if their Cost of Living or lifestyle can allow them to pay $150-250/month besides the increased costs of CF related products (from clothes to supplements) and grassfed/organic food they will be more likely to pay for something like HRT or cosmetic surgery.

My friend is a Dr. in Dallas but he does get to travel around the US quite a bit for his hobbies. I'm awaiting his reply.

Bill, are you a doctor. I know you said you weren't an endocrinologist. Are you an OBGYN?

Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

To note, my friend got back to me. He says cosmetic surgery in Dallas is on par with LA, NY, etc.

Physical Therpay student. I just happen to read geek stuff for fun. I think selective estrogen receptor modulators are safer at this point than estrogen. Just be wary is all I am saying. SERMs are supposed to protect against feminine cancers later in life and provide benefit of protecting bone etc.

BTW, that isn't me in the picture. It is the beloved Dmitry Klokov. Glad you are participating more in discussion. It is kind of frowned up to leave blog posts and not discuss. Enjoy your stay!

Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

Thanks. I'm actually a pretty quiet and soft spoken person. Tell the Russian guy he could use a little estrogen.

Re: Weight loss: does food give some people an “eaters high?”

Different genes different receptors. I have never heard of anyone finding celery bitter before. I wonder what the variant is there. Anyone know anything about celery?
