Regarding Cert. switch

So I signed up for the NC cert. this May but saw that they are having another cert this April in my home state of Georgia. I only paid $250 for the NC cert and am curious if I should just pay for the $1000 for the Georgia cert. instead and void out the rest of the payment for NC cert. I emailed HQ but I'm afraid that the Georgia cert. will soon be sold out, does anyone have exp. with this situation or has anyone done this before?

Re: Regarding Cert. switch

Call someone involved with the process. A phone call will get you an answer much faster than an e-mail. I can't see too much reason why they wouldn't let you switch certs, unless it's too close and they want things locked in.

Re: Regarding Cert. switch

Ehh, I couldn't find a phone number to call but they just responded with saying that they don't accept refunds. I guess they didn't get it. I replied them saying that I will just end up not paying for the NC cert and pay full for the Atlanta cert. I'm sure they won't charge me for not paying for the rest of the NC cert.

Jason,
See if you can find someone to go in your place to the NC Cert. I'm sure there are people who want to go but cant b/c it is sold out.

Re: Regarding Cert. switch

Jason,

I had signed up (and paid) to attend an O-Lift Cert and then work issues came up and I knew I wouldn't be able to attend. I e-mailed customer service and asked them to remove me from attendance at that particular location. (CF One World) They are holding my payment to apply to a future cert that I sign up for as soon as I have the time. So basically I have a credit with CF now.

I believe the policy is no refunds, which you nor I were not asking for anyway, just ask them to apply your deposit to a different date and location. It worked for me.

Good luck and let us know how it goes,

John West

Re: Regarding Cert. switch

I got everything fixed now. I'm going to the Atlanta cert and I told them to cancel my registration to the North Carolina cert. Thanks for the help guys.
