Rest periods for the WOD
When doing WODs that have a time or rep goal, when should I take rest periods:
- Between sets? - Between circuits? - Only when I begin to fail and need to rest my muscles for another attempt? I’ve been opting for the last method. However, this way my workouts start stronger than they end which I’m not crazy about. .M |

Re: Rest periods for the WOD
heavy lifts/oly lifts = take 3-7 minutes resting between them
Otherwise there's some with some prescribed rest breaks usually stated in the workouts. The only one I can think of off hand is the max bodyweight bench and then max pullup one where you can rest between rounds (not between the bench then pullups). Time = do as fast as you can Search next time this question was asked already within the past month. |
