What would you call it? Besides a good old fashioned *** kicking? Ground him down, beat him up, passed his guard, took him down at will and did it so well that his corner stopped the fight before the final round. Not steamrolled? I like BJ and everything but ..........he got steamrolled for sure.

Re: Ready for UFC 127?

He said "to the death"...what he meant was "until I can't fight anymore".

Steamrolled.

Love BJ though.

The ebersole and lytle fight was a lot more competitive and entertaining than I thought it would be

Re: Ready for UFC 127?

Wow...BJ did zero boxing.

And lesson learned for Fitch...no more leaving it to the judges (even though he won).

Re: Ready for UFC 127?

I actually had BJ as an underdog in this fight and I think he did pretty well against Fitch in this fight. Fitch is much bigger than Penn and a much better wrestler. BJ brought the fight to fitch and even took him down once. Fitch is a beast though and I give him props. It was a tough match up for Penn but he did much better against fitch than virtually any of Fitch's previous opponents (not counting GSP of course).

Great fight I thought, nothing for neither fighter to be ashamed of. BJ was honest in the end and gave credit to Fitch where credit was due.

I only watched the fights that were on Ion, but the Ring v. Fukuda was a ridiculious decision. I wish I would have watched it w/o Rogan commentating (btw...did he seem a little off or what? I was wondering if he wasn't under the influence of some Aussie ganga or something), but I thought Fukuda clearly won at least 2 of those rounds.
