This one if for all the Devil Dogs out there. I was brainstorming different ideas for workouts to celebrate the 231st Birthday of the Marine Corps on 10 Nov 2006. This is one I have come up with the would work:

(Based on WOD 061013)
Every Minute on the Minute for 231 Minutes:

1 Pull-up
1 Marine Corps Push-up (4 count)

Starting time will be precisely 0408, with a finishing time of 0800, in time for Morning Colors. Coach, what do you think?

Would much rather do 231 for time - but on the minute is more like the slow torture of the corp...HA!

Semper Fi!

I say we do:

231 Pushups / 231 BW pullups for time.

P.S. - Add one for Chesty Puller

231 8 counts for time followed by 231 4 count flutterkicks. I will count the cadence, you count the repetitions...

231 across the board:
Pull
Push
Sit
Squat

This will basically be a pull-a-thon.
Partition the reps as need be.
In a perfect World 10 rounds of 23 reps and 1 round of 1 for Chesty.
I think I'll come up with a system that divides the pullups like:

12 pull
23 push
23 sit
11 pull
23 squat
*repeat for 10 rounds*
**then 1 round of 1 for Chesty**

or
8 pull
23 push
8 pull
23 sit
7 pull
23 squat
*repeat for 10 rounds*
**then 1 round of 1 for Chesty**

Fun!?
