Anyone had any experience with hormone replacement? Specifically, some of the GNC products. I am fifty and starting to having trouble losing body fat.

No GNC product other than maybe DHEA or melatonin is really going to be considered "hormone replacement".

If you are considering doing anything to alter your hormone profile using exogenous sources, make sure to get a hormone panel done *beforehand* so that you have baselines to refer back to should anything go wrong (or right!) in the future. This is VERY important.

As I mentioned in another post, I should very soon (hopefully Monday) have access to prescribing a very complete blood panel (including all the pertinent hormone markers) for a very reasonable cost. I'll announce when this becomes available.

For sure what Dr. G said. find someone a HCP who specializes in bio-identical hormone replecement. This frequently falls under "lifestyle" medicine in the yellow pages.

Before reaching for that bottle of anabolic delights, have you tried changing your diet and exercise patterns?

Most people who have trouble losing bodyfat would do better to look at those two variables before spending money on supplements.

One of my girlfriends is an Estonian pharmacist. My bench went from 90 to 380 in 4 days, after her last trip to the old country.
