Wednesday 11/26/08

Well I skipped squat today my knees are sore and this was my last SS workout before re maxing next week. I benched normal with some extra and went moderate on deadlift. I will take 5-6 days off and max in bench press, and squat or deadlift. Then next day I will clean and press. If a third day is needed it will be whatever I haven't done between squat and deadlifts.

Bench Press
4 x warmup
3x5x345
1x1x395
1x1x405

Hope to get 415 fresh next week on video too.

Deadlifts
4 x warmup
3x5x315

5-6 days of rest and good grub can't hardley wait.

Wednesday 11-3-08

Maxed out on power clean today. I didn't do as good as I wanted to but it was OK. I ended up with 235 thats 20lbs heavier than 7 wks ago. I did 225 really easy, but after looking at the video it looked really slow. I missed 245 3 times before I gave up. Then I missed 235 1 time before buckleing down and doing it. Here are the videos

Did the CFT today

Squat
My knees were still kinda sore and I didn't do as well as I wanted to. 415 felt kinda sloppy too.

Press
Felt pretty good, up 15lbs. from 7 weeks ago. Considering the problems I had with this lift I'm happy.

Tuesday 12/9/08

Went in today just to do some isolation work. My knees still hurt and my elbow has felt like it needs to pop for 2 days. Anyway I did some stuff I hadn't done in a while. I'm waiting on my knees to get better before I do any leg exercise at all.

DB Bench Press
1x8x80
3x8x90

Seated Cable Rows
1x15x105
3x12x135

Seated Behind Neck Press (This was more for stretching my shoulders than)
3x10x95 (anything, but I did get a burn though)

Rope Tricep Extensions (I use to kill these, but today 10 was all with FROM)
6x10x60

Spent about 45 min in and out of the wirlpool, jetting my knee and back.

Friday 12/19/08

Swam 21 laps 32min.

My knees are still sore, if they don't get better by Christmas I will have to get a screening done at the PT clinic my wife works at. I will probably start back doing some upper body next week. I had a spazam in my back (under left shoulder blade) that took forever to go away.

I had my knees looked at yesterday before my swim by the gyms pysical theropist, and he said I had some tendinitous in the tenden that attaches my quad to my knee. It has really been sore for a while. I haven't done anything for a couple of weeks and its still sore. I guess I will swim and do some upper body untill it goes away. He said not to anything that fires the extends the leg and fires the quads. Hope it gets better soon. I guess I can work on my press, and start trying some ring dips (getting ready for muscleups, I hope).

I did some different stuff tonight because I will swim tommorow then I won't be back until next Monday. My knees are still sore and the PT says it will just take time. But until they don't hurt I'm not suppose to do any squats or anything other than walk that flexs my quad.
