My roomate may have tore ligaments in his ankle yesterday while out running and is now in a boot cast. He wants to continue to workout though, through the FAQ section I found substitutions for running but not for burpee's unless I completly overlooked just wandering what a good alternative would be?

tore ligaments in the ankle?
it's going to be tough to substitute with that kind of restriction.

The good ole Kettlebell Swing is a heck of a metabolic blaster that might fit the bill...I use it a lot more in the winter when outdoor running is difficult.
