Re: Powders

On behalf of the rest of the world, it's been said before but I'll say it again, I'd love to try this Nitrean stuff, but when the shipping costs more than the product..........

I'm currently using Myprotein Impact Whey, unflavoured, paying 35 for 5kg (~$5/lb)

It gives Per 25g:
Energy: 98.3Kcal
Protein (dry basis): 20.5g
Protein (as-is): 19.6g
Fat: 1.7g
Carbohydrates: 1.5g
Calcium: 125.0mg
Cholesterol: 0.5mg

Ingredients: Undenatured Whey Protein Concentrate*, Emulsifier (Soy Lecithin)
*From Milk

It's nothing fancy but serves my purpose. Tastes and mixes great too.

Yeah, I always felt that AtLarge should have a soy, collagen, gemma, and rice protein blend.

No b.s., I've considered it, but to make a substantial price difference the quality of ingredients would have to go below a point that I am willing to accept. I hope that tells you something about the "cheap" products out there...

Really?! Awesome. I've used Pullum a lot for equipment, never thought to check their nutrition catalogue.

Great, thanks Chris.

Re: Powders

It seems like there's a real relationship between cost and quality as with anything. Makes me wonder if I've been getting ripped off using products like muscle Pharms protein and gasparis myofusion. Chris, how would one tell the quality of ingredients in a protein? Other than price point?
