Dave's W.O.D. log

I'm a former D3 football player who was introduced to crossfit over 2 years ago by a special ops soldier and I've been crossfitting ever since (feeds the competitive fire). I do mix in some of Rob Shaul's Military/Mountain athlete programs here and there, but I'm mostly dedicated to crossfit. I'm a trainer at a YMCA in South Central PA. There is not a crossfit affiliate within 2 hours of me so I decided to start this log to get motivation and tips from anyone who wants to post.

I'm starting my post from the 10/31/10 workout:

30 squat clean and jerk @ 155lb = 7:48

Not having bumper plates at the gym sucks!

I enjoyed this wod. It was difficult but different. The athletes that are featured on the main site are beasts. I can only dream of hitting their times and loads. I need to purchase some rings. I was hitting my head off of the tile for my muscle-ups. How much more difficult are ring muscle ups compared to a bar?

I felt sluggish today. This weekend will be a much needed break. Off to West Point with the wife to see Air Force vs. Army. Have a good weekend all!
