I don't think you would either, but the thing is, they are born with it. All mammals, according to Dr. Gundry, secrete IGF (BHG)into their milk in order to stimulate their calf/offspring to grow.

Re: Truth about milk

All of us produce IGF-1 in our livers. It is absolutely necessary for life.

Re: Truth about milk

Note the part that says r-BGH injected cows have tested at upwards of 10x IGF.

Factor in that we generally subject growing childeren to this and there is no wonder there are Cancer issues.

3 cheers for raw goat milk!

Of course it is, but only humans consume milk past infancy and there has been a correlation of cancer in the colon, prostate and breast with correlation milk consumption...which puts me back to my original statement

Believe the study or not that, of course, is entirely up to you.

Re: Truth about milk

To quote Phillippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, aka Paracelsus, "All things are poison and nothing is without poison, only the dose permits something not to be poisonous" which usually gets shortened to "the dose makes the poison".

Debates about whether it's safe or healthy to eat something can get a bit silly if that isn't taken into account.

No doubt!

I only like milk in cereal or after cake or while eating cookies...none of which I am ingesting at this moment so milk is out for me too!

If I want a glass of milk, I would have it, but I never yearn for milk so not drinking it is no problem.
