I purchased the Body Trends Door Gym with the intent of doing the Armstrong or Recon Ron program. It is a good product, but it isn't compatible with the doors in my present home (the ceilings in every doorway are always abnormallly low on one side)

Does anyone have any good supplemental exercises I can do at home to increase my pullups. My options are (bodyweight - I prefer this choice, Kettlebells, Dynamax 20 lb ball), Powerwheel, and paralletes.

An exercise that helped with my pullups was "tailgate pullups" (if you have a truck of course) However, they were more like reverse pushups since your heels are to be on the ground to make it a good exercise. OR you could lay a broomstick across a few high chairs or something. Be creative. If its high enough, you could pull yourself to a horizontal hang and do pullups that way. Tends to tax the posterior deltoid a lot more.

If you don't have a wife to tell you not to (BTDT), get a Power Board from Metolius, and do pullups on that. You would put it above the door threshold, or on a wall somewhere. It will work your grip unbelievably well.

Or, if it's your house, hang rings from the ceiling.
