A buddy and i did a 500 rep kettlebell workout two days after the TSC in La Jolla just to "finish off the school year with a bang" here at Aztec Strength and Conditioning. Here's the workout:

100 snatches (24kg.) any way you can get 'em
100 cleans (24kg.) " "
50 Double KB presses (2x20kg.)
50 Double KB Jerks (2x20kg.)
200 swings (24kg.)

Charlie 38:06
Erik: 44:30

wasn't really cardiovascularly taxing for me, our backs were both hurting from the snatches and deadlifts from the TSC, but they pretty much went numb when we got to the presses. We just wanted to finish the damn thing. thought you guys might enjoy.

Typical weekend workout when I was doing GS:

snatch 24kg 60/60, 40/40 x3, 30/30x2
jerk - 5x15

600+ reps

Hard to figure how that got boring so fast.

Yeah I don't think i've ever come close to repeating those sorts of workouts since i got back from the RKC.

I still do the 5 and 10 min snatch tests occasionally but I don;t think i could ever train for GS

indeed we named it "the succubus" haha. I remember training for GS about a year and a half ago and i agree that it got real old real fast. Personally, i'd rather do 20 snatches with a 32kg. or 40kg. than 40-60 with a 24kg. Needless to say, GS and i went our seperate ways and started seeing other people...
