Re: Countdown to UFC 77

I agree with Becca, the show was pretty dull up until the title fight. Anderson Silva is the man and i've got to say... If the bell hadn't went at the end of the first Franklin would have been either KO'd or TKO'd right then.

I enjoyed Belchers performance against Starnes he used his eight weapons effectively.

Re: Countdown to UFC 77

They gave that fight to Tim cause he has held the belt before and it was pretty even. How did Tim clearly win? He didn't take Brandon down - Brandon took him down. Also Tim held Brandon on the cage by pushing him there and holding the top of the cage. Pretty lame if you ask me - Tim is who made the fight boring - in no way did he "bang" like he has done with lesser fighters. Brandon's kicks almost put Tim on the mat twice. Tim did land a few clean punches. Look out for a re-match in the future.

If Brandon wasn't ready as Tim claims, why didn't Tim stand and "bang" with Brandon? Why didn't he knock Brandon out? He barely beat Brandon even with a broken hand in the first round...lol
