Yeah, I agree. Some rubbish, but alot of good stuff on strength development. Although using gymnastics to get big biceps does sound pretty naff.

Why not just do curls?

i agree, wholeheartedly... t-nation is an excellent resource. but there were seriously a few people posting in that thread who claimed that (and this is more or less verbatim): most gymnasts are weaker than the completely untrained! it boggles the mind. and, while i agree that curls are obviously the most direct route to bigger biceps, why not build the biceps along with everything else? just a thought.

I just read a few pages of that thread on gymnastics biceps, and now my head hurts. I feel 3x dumber now. :-(

Lots of hate in that thread against anyone under average height. Well most if not all T nation people are of leas than average intelligence though.

I've seen a lot of proponents of gymnastics movements for biceps on this board, esp. pull-ups and ring work.

Re: anyone here been to t-nation lately?

the levels of both ignorance and arrogance exhibited in that thread literally infuriated me! i find it especially ironic considering the most vocal proponents of the inferiority of the, for lack of a better word, "gymnastic physique", are the guys posting under assumed names with cartoon avatars...

T-Nation has good info depending on who is writing. If Dan John is writing you should listen.
