July Challenge - poll

There was a pretty good turnout for the june 20 minute push up challenge - about 50 people posted times - and I'm mailing the amazing maple syrup trophy prize to victor and valerie.

I'm starting to get email about the next challenge - so i figured a poll was in order. this is a sort of strange deja vu for me - as i put together the challenges for concept2 for years.

this poll is to get at two things - best challenge for july and to see if logsitall adds any value to this process, or if things are best left alone - and just capture results in a forum post like always.

logsitall allows standings to be manged easily, shared and posted - but it is another piece of technology, has to be learned, and isn't perfect.

so please vote on your challenge of choice - and if you think logsitall makes this concept work better or not...

Re: July Challenge - poll

Accidentally voted twice, but both would work for me. I like Logsitall. Keeps it more organized and easy to read. Would be nice to have an option to see all entries instead of just top 20. Can you default to top 20, but provide link for all entries?

If you go by percentage, I doubt there will be a tie. If so, flip a coin.

Re: July Challenge - poll

I voted Max HSPUs in 10 and Max Pullups in 10; I prefer HSPUs.

Not everyone has a C2 Rower, and the most km run in a month is going to be counterproductive to training, even for those specifically training for endurance like me.

Re: July Challenge - poll

shane:

re the most km run - this suggestion is based on my c2 experience -

"fastest" challenges (fastest 500m or longest 30min row) tend to appeal to fewer people than the "endurance" challenges like "who can row the most in 30 days" etc. I think that more people feel like they have a chance at getting to the top of the board in endurance (anyone can, just takes determination).

not sure what the cf simile will be - most pull ups in a month? most weight dead lifted in a week? hard to sort out what would be heathy + popular + trackable...

I like the pull-up challenge and enjoy tracking the results on logistall.
