nice Anthony, ya muscled through it!
something seems odd about your grip, is it thumbless?

Thanks everyone!

Jerry, thumbs are wrapped around the rings normally ... pretty sure I'm using a false grip (based on every pic/description I've read). Not sure why it looks weird, maybe I just have weird hands!

Now I need to practise multiple reps ... any tricks for maintaining the false grip after the first rep? That seems to be my problem.

At the top of the dip adjust your hands so your wrists are straight and you are supporting right low on the heels of your hands, then grip like a sonofa***** as you lower back down to the hang.

in your video it looks to me like your false grip actually slipped when you did your big pull into your kip.

hang your rings up somewhere higher so you actually have to jump up to grab them and pull your hands into the false grip while hanging. I guarantee you will develop your false gripping strength.
